How much does a roof replacement cost in New York?
It depends on the size of the roof, the pitch, and how many layers must come off. The material you pick matters too. We will not guess over the phone. We will measure the roof, check the decking, and give you a written number before you commit.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most homes take one to three days once the crew starts. Weather is the main variable, especially in the fall and winter. We will give you a start date and a finish date in the written estimate. No vague window that keeps sliding week after week.
Do you repair roofs, or only replace them?
Both. Not every leak needs a full replacement, and we will tell you when a repair is the smarter call. Flashing, missing shingles, or a bad valley can usually be fixed. If the deck is soft or the roof is past its life, we will say so.
What is EPDM roofing and do I need it?
EPDM is a rubber membrane built to handle flat and low slope roofs. Shingles will not work on those surfaces because water sits instead of draining. If you have a porch roof, an addition, or a flat section that ponds after rain, EPDM is the answer.
Do you handle storm damage?
Yes. Wind and hail take shingles off, bend gutters, and crack siding panels. We will inspect the whole exterior, not just the spot you noticed, and photograph what failed. Everything we find goes in the written estimate, so you can see the full picture before deciding.
